The National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA) looks forward to welcoming members and other industry partners to its Biannual Top Issues in Affordable Housing November 2026 conference at the Fairmont Washington in Washington, D.C. The multiday event, Wednesday, Nov. 11-Friday, Nov. 13, will feature panels on the issues facing affordable housing practitioners and educational topics for navigating today’s world, led by experts in their fields. The annual meeting features several educational panels specifically for the affordable housing industry. Invited guests include representatives from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of Multifamily Housing. Panels featuring government officials and other special guests are not open to the media and may not be recorded. Event registration includes admission to all sessions and committee meetings unless noted as a “closed event” on the agenda. Registration also includes the Vanguard Awards ceremony and luncheon on Thursday, Nov. 12.

Additionally, the NAHMA Educational Foundation will host its annual Inspire Gala on Thursday, Nov. 12, at Sequoia DC, 3000 K St. NW, Washington, D.C. The gala is the foundation’s primary public fundraising event, with proceeds supporting the scholarship program. The event includes the Inspiration Award presentation to Alice Fletcher, a live auction, a silent auction, entertainment, a sit-down dinner, and a testimonial from a scholarship recipient. The preliminary meeting agenda is now available on the NAHMA Biannual Top Issues in Affordable Housing Conference – November 2026 webpage. As the event date approaches, attendees will be able to download the official meeting app, which provides access to the full conference schedule, speaker bios and photos, sponsor information, attendee list, meeting materials, and more. The app is hosted on the Yapp platform, which can be downloaded for free from your device’s app store.
