Having Fun for a Great Cause
The gala is the foundation’s primary public fundraising event, with proceeds supporting the scholarship program.
The 2026 Inspire Gala takes place Thursday, Nov. 12, at Sequoia DC, 3000 K St. NW, Washington, DC 20007.
Sequoia DC is located on the banks of the Potomac River in Washington, D.C., with floor-to-ceiling windows offering magnificent views of Arne Quinze’s large-scale, site-specific sculpture in the garden, the Kennedy Center, Roosevelt Bridge, Roosevelt Island, Key Bridge, and the Virginia skyline.

The highlight of the year is the NAHMA Educational Foundation Annual Fundraising Inspire Gala, where we get together to make a difference in the lives of students living in affordable housing.
