Rajni Agarwal has been with the organization for 29 years, and unlike HUD’s TRACS computer system, she has managed to keep herself updated annually.
As Vice President of Finance and Administration, Rajni manages the “gears” of the organization, overseeing everything from bookkeeping to long-term financial planning.
Rajni’s favorite part of her tenure has been the people; she finds a deep sense of purpose in working alongside a team and membership dedicated to making a meaningful impact. Her expertise in nonprofit accounting and her sharp attention to detail have been instrumental in keeping NAHMA financially sound for three decades.
Though she once famously mistook a baseball game for a hockey match, her true sports passion is cricket. When she isn’t balancing the books, you can find her smiling and enjoying life with her loved ones.
She lives by the motto: “Take your work seriously, but don’t take yourself seriously.”
