The National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA) and Pearl Meyer announce the release of the 2026 NAHMA Affordable Housing Compensation Survey report. The report provides affordable housing companies with current information on key organizational metrics and compensation program structure/design characteristics. The survey report features extensive salary data on over 100 positions from 92 affordable housing real estate companies. The full report can be purchased by visiting the NAHMA page on the Pearl Meyer website.

Participating companies receive valuable data to benchmark compensation for employees in the affordable housing industry and across various facets of real estate. If you wish to take part in next year’s survey, contact Veronika Valcheva at veronika.valcheva@pearlmeyer.com.

The sample report, available on the Pearl Meyer NAHMA webpage, is free to all NAHMA-AHMA members and provides the overall average base salary and total compensation for each role presented in the survey.

Jon Bobo, managing director at Pearl Meyer, will present the highlights from this year’s report at NAHMA’s November meeting, during a session on Nov. 12. Additionally, Pearl Meyer survey team members will be available as speakers for AHMA webinars and conferences to share insights on the survey findings.
