The National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA) Educational Foundation announces the selection of 147 student residents to receive scholarships for the 2026/2027 school year. Additionally, the foundation will make an annual $2,000 scholarship donation to the property management program within the School of Design in the College of Architecture, Arts, and Design at Virginia Tech, to be awarded to a student enrolled in the property management major course of study. With each scholarship worth $3,500, combined with the Virginia Tech donation, the total amount to be distributed this year is $514,000.

“This has been another tremendously successful year for the NAHMA Scholarship Program. Having 147 NAHMA scholars receiving a total of $514,500 is simply fantastic. This year’s outcome is a tribute to all of the organizations and individuals whose financial generosity has made this program so successful for so long. Hats off to the people across the country supporting applicants through the process, and to our great staff, for another outstanding year. Participation in campus and community activities, excellent academic performance and a clear-minded pursuit of achieving their goal to graduate are defining characteristics of this year’s group of NAHMA scholars,” NAHMA Educational Foundation Chairperson Anthony Sandoval said.

The NAHMA Educational Foundation is pleased to have created this legacy supporting resident academic achievement for the betterment of communities nationwide.

This year’s NAHMA scholars live in 24 different states and represent 12 different Affordable Housing Management Associations (AHMAs). The 2026 scholars, including their community, management company, school, grade, and major, are listed according to their AHMA.
