Congress on Memorial Day Recess ahead of continued fiscal negotiations

Lawmakers are in their home districts this week for the Memorial Day Recess. Congress is back in session on Tuesday with a packed agenda for the upcoming weeks, including progress on fiscal year 2019 funding bills. Senate appropriators are expected to consider HUD’s FY19 funding levels in both the Subcommittee and full Appropriations Committee next week.
