Legislators in both the Senate and House of Representatives have been on a holiday recess and will return on January 6, 2014.
The Washington update will be back next week when the Senators and Representatives return from their districts. When they do return, members of both chambers’ Appropriations Committees will continue to draft the appropriations bills for FY 2014 now that the Bipartisan Budget Act has passed. NAHMA will follow the process closely and will alert members of the specific funding provided under the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development appropriations bill as soon as it is released.
