Below is a summary of legislation that NAHMA has considered. A general explanation of the bill is provided, as well as NAHMA’s position.

The Library of Congress website, Thomas, includes a helpful page which tracks the status of annual spending bills (i.e. appropriations bills). From this site, viewers can read the 2 key spending bills for housing, the Agriculture, Rural Development, and Related Agencies bill and the Transportation, Treasury, the Judiciary, HUD, and Related Agencies bill, as well as the committee reports, and the final conference report. Viewers can track these important bills from their introduction until they are signed into law.
